    Avnd la dispoziie baza de date SPECTF.mat formata din imagini Single ProtonEmission Computed Tomography am realizat o serie de procesri asupra acesteia,procesri ce au la baz algoritmul PCA.

    n continuare va fi prezentat pe scurt baza de date. Aceasta este formata din doua

    clase : normal si anormal (notat 0 sau 1) si este formata din 267 seturi de imagini fiecareimagine avand 44 de trasaturi.Toti vectorii sunt astfel 44-dimensionali.

    Vectorii din baza de date au fost impartiti in 2 loturi:- SPECTF_train.mat, continand 80 de instante din clasa initiala, 40 catalogati cu

    sanatos si 40 cu bolnav;- SPECTF_test.mat, continand 187 de instante din clasa initiala, 15 etichetati cu

    sanatos si 172 cu bolnav;-

    Ambele loturi sunt etichetate, stiindu-se fiecare vector din ce clasa provine.

    n cele ce urmeaz vor fi prezentate rezultatele obinute la fiecare pas de procesare.

    Dup cum se poate observa, prima component principal are un aport considerabil(75%) n ceea ce privete conservarea energiei, celelalte componente aducnd un aportdin ce n ce n ce mai mic, astfel nct se poate afirma c de la a 8-a componentcontribuiile sunt neglijabile.

    Se poate observa c, desi ne-am fi asteptat la o crestere liniara a scorului derecunoastere odata cu cresterea numarului de componente retinute, acest lucru sedovedeste a fi adevarat pana la un punct. In cazul in care folosim doar primele 4componente se obtine un rezultat mai slab decat atunci cand se folosesc 7 componente,ns atunci cnd sunt luate n considerare toate cele 13 acest lucru pare s introduc erori
