Cu privire la procesele fluviale sub influena barajelor Cercetarea geomorfologic trebuie s se raporteze la cunoaterea faptului c se disting trei perioade de evoluie: - prima perioad imediat dup construirea barajului, caracterizat prin reinerea aproape complet a aluviunilor aduse de ru i eroziunii locale (afuieri) pe ntinse sectoare n aval de baraj;- a doua perioad este dominat de aluvionarea patului albiei amonte de lac, iar aval de baraj se stabilizeaz la nivel de pavaj;- a treia perioad corespunde colmatrii aproape totale a lacului, iar transportul solid, amonte i aval se apropie foarte mult de regimul anterior amenajrii.
