891 OFICII POȘTALE MILITARE AMBULANTE TRAVELLING FIELDPOST OFFICES ALTE ȘTAMPILE: OTHER CANCELS / CACHETS Au existat și practici ale serviciului poștal militar ambulant care s-au aflat în afara sistemului reglementat prezentat mai sus. De exemplu, la bordul unor trenuri sanitare au existat stații de sortare a corespondenței în care lucra personal al poștei militare. Deși acestea nu erau oficii poștale, ștampilele aplicate indică natura militară a serviciului poștal desfășurat în acestea. De asemenea, pe lângă OPMA, și alte trenuri (militare sau civile) au asigurat transportarea corespondenței militare, dar nu s- au aplicat ștampile în acest sens. În afara unor trenuri civile care au preluat saci poștali militari, au existas și unele linii locale - din care cele mai celebre sunt Fleimstahlbahn în Tirol sau linia prin pasul Prislop și trenul benzino- electric dintre Transilvania și Bucovina. În gările imperiului s-a depus adeseori corespondență pentru a fi preluată de oficiile poștale ambulante. Unele dintre trimiteri au fost ștampilate exclusiv la gara de predare, mai ales la începutul războiului, iar ștampila respectivă este singura atestare de circuit poștal. Astfel cazuri sunt prezentate în continuare, grupate în următoarele patru categorii: The ambulant postal service sometimes occurred outside the regulated system already presented. For instance, some hospital trains comprised mail sorting stations where the personnel processing the mail belonged to the fieldpost. Although these were not fieldpost offices per se, the applied cachets witness for the military nature of the offered postal service. Also, apart of the TFPOs, other trains (military or civilian) did ensure the transportation of the fieldpost mail but no cancels were applied in this respect. Apart of the regular (civilian) TPOs which took over fieldpost mail bags, there were some local railways - of which, the most notorius are the Fleimstashbahn in Tirol, the Prislopbahn and the Benzinoelektrische bahn between Transylvania and Bukowina. In the railway stations of the empire, oftentimes mail was presented in order to be passed on to the TPOs. Some of these mails were cancelled only at the respective stations, especially in the early war days, and that cancel is the only one to tell about the postal circuit.
