Imagine the most beautiful, yet tiny world you
have ever seen; a world full of witchcraft which
invites you to dream you can be whatever you want!
It is a world dominated by funny characters, great
3
movies, unexpected love stories and wonderful friends. This
is the world of Walt Disney!
1.Argument
“Believe is just the beginning”…in this way starts every dream, every hope, every
realization. You have just to believe in yourself and in your aspirations in order to
became reality your dreams. If you want you can built your own world, you can imagine
everybody is kind or you can make new friends-that’s Walt Disney!
I chose this theme: Walt Disney because I enjoy every time I see movies like 101
Dalmatians or The Lady and the Vagabond, because I love Mickey Mouse or Miss Piggy,
because I can dream at a love like the one between Cinderella and Prince Charming or
between Jasmine and Aladdin.

2.Introduction
The Walt Disney Company is the third largest media and entertainment in the world.
Founded by brothers Walt and Roy Disney as a small animation studio, it has become one
of the biggest Hollywood studios and owner of eleven theme parks and several television
networks.
The most important aspect of Disney is the characters, which are multiple and funny.
Walt Disney began the move into features in 1934, pulling selected animators away from
the short subjects division that had previously been the whole of Walt Disney
Productions. The result was the first animated feature in English and Technicolor, Snow
White and the Seven Dwarfs. Beside successes like Snow White, Dumbo, and Cinderella,
Disney also directed the Feature Animation staff create experimental and stylized films
such as Fantasia and Sleeping Beauty which sustained losses and did not recoup their
costs until decades after their original releases.

3.The Characters
3.1.Minnie Mouse
Minnie Mouse is the quintessential girl-next-door.
She personifies the very spirit of femininity with her kind
and caring style. She gracefully moves, speaks and acts
with a wholesome girlish charm. Guileless and innocent,
Minnie always retains the simple, down-to-earth spirit of a
sweet country girl. She is always polite and proper and
despite her shy nature, she maintains an air of
independence and self-warmth.
Fun-loving, Minnie enjoys life to the fullest. As a performer with great ability,
Minnie loves music, frequently singing or humming to herself. Sweet and demure but not
entirely naïve, she is intelligent, with a mind of her own. Secure and strong enough to
allow her partner to shine, Minnie graciously shares the spotlight with Mickey. Having
6
like favourite phrases “Why, hello!” or “Yoo-hoooo”, ”Oh Mickey!” or “Aren’t you
sweet!”, Minnie Mouse manages to charm all people who see her.
3.2.Mickey Mouse
Mickey Mouse is arguably the most famous of the
Disney cartoon characters. Making his debut in "Steamboat
Willie" at the Colony Theatre in New York City on
November 18, 1928, Mickey went on to star in over 120
different cartoons. He also starred in "The Mickey Mouse
Club" television show of the 1950s.
Mickey Mouse’s original drawings used circles for his
head, body and ears.1939’s “The Pointer” saw a bold, new
design for Mickey as his body became more pear-shaped
and pupils were added to his eyes to increase his range of expression. Later, animators of
the 194`s would add a perspective aspect to his ears, giving them a three-dimensional
effect. The Mickey Mouse of today appears much as he did in the early days with the
exception of a costume change here and there.
Originally, Mickey was voiced by Walt Disney himself. Later, those duties were
assumed by Jim MacDonald and today Wayne Allwine provides Mickey’s distinctive
voice. Mickey Mouse has appeared on thousands of merchandise items and currently
holds the esteemed title of Chief Greeter at the Disney theme parks.
7
3.3.Pluto
Pluto, also called Pluto the Pup, is a
cartoon character created in 1930 by Walt
Disney Productions. He is a golden-colored,
medium-sized, short-haired dog with black ears.
He is Mickey Mouse's pet. Together
with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald
Duck, Daisy Duck and Goofy, Pluto is one of the "Sensational Six"—the biggest stars in
the Disney universe. Though all six are non-human animals, Pluto alone is not dressed as
a human. Pluto debuted in animated cartoons and appeared in 24 Mickey Mouse films
before receiving his own series in 1937. All together Pluto appeared in 89 short films
between 1930 and 1953. Pluto does not speak, walk upright, or wear clothing, but rather
acts like a normal dog. Pluto is generally a cheerful and adventurous dog, although he can
be given to sheer panic when confronted with something unknown. In many of his
appearances with Mickey, Pluto will get himself into trouble and cause Mickey to get
angry at him. Mickey however, often cheers up quickly; often telling Pluto "I can't be
mad at ya."
3.4.Donald Duck
Donald Duck is a funny animal cartoon character
created in 1934 at Walt Disney Productions. He typically
wears a sailor suit with a cap and a black or red bow tie.
Donald is most famous for his semi-intelligible
8
speech and his mischievous and irritable personality. Along with his friend Mickey
Mouse, Donald is one of the most popular Disney characters and was included in TV
Guide's list of the 50 greatest cartoon characters of all time in 2002. He has appeared in
more films than any other Disney character, listed as appearing in approximately 178
theatrical films compared to Mickey Mouse's 137, and is the fifth most published comic
book character in the world after Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, and Wolverine. His
distinctive voice was created by Clarence Nash, who performed the role for 50
years. Donald is also a bit of a show-off. He likes to brag, especially about how skilled he
is at something. He does in fact have many skills-he is something of a Jack of all Trades.
Amongst other things, he is a good fisher and a good hockey player. However, his love of
bragging often leads him to overestimate his abilities, so that when he sets out to make
good on his boasts, he gets in over his head, usually to hilarious effect.
4.The Princesses From Disney
4.1.Cinderella
Cinderella is a fictional character who
appears in Walt Disney Pictures' 12th animated
feature film Cinderella (1950) and its
sequels Cinderella II: Dreams Come True (2002)
and Cinderella III: A Twist in Time (2007). In the
original film, Cinderella is voiced by American
singer and actress Ilene Woods. For the sequels
and subsequent film and television appearances,
Woods was replaced by American
actresses Jennifer Hale and Tami Tappan, who
provide the character's speaking and singing voices respectively.
9
Cinderella is 19 years old with shoulder-length strawberry-blonde hair , blue eyes
and a fair complexion. She is made a servant in her own home and is constantly
tormented by her evil stepmother , Lady Tremaine, and two stepsisters. Despite being shy
and romantic, she maintains hope through her dreams and always waits for her prince to
come to save her. She is hopeful that someday her wishes of happiness will come true.
When her evil stepsisters and stepmother prevent her from going to a royal ball for the
prince's hand, she is unhappy and fears that her dreams will never come true. However,
her Fairy Godmother appears, restoring Cinderella's hope, by transforming her torn
homemade gown into her iconic cyan ball gown with a glittering puffed overskirt and cap
sleeves. Her accessories are cyan opera gloves, a cyan headband, a black choker,
diamond earrings and glass slippers.
4.2.Snow White
Snow White is a fictional character and a
main character from Walt Disney Productions' 1st
animated feature film Snow White and the Seven
Dwarfs. The character of Snow White was derived
from a fairy tale known from many countries in
Europe, the best-known version being
the Bavarian one collected by the Brothers Grimm.
Snow White is the first Disney Princess and the first
fictional female character with a star on
the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Snow White is a 15-year old princess and is the
fairest in the land in the story. She has ivory skin
and a plump, round face with rosy cheeks. Her black
hair is wore in a bob, and she has pouty red lips. Her eyes are small, wide and a warm
10
honey-brown color, with black, thick eyelashes. She is described by her stepmother's
Magic Mirror as having "hair as black as ebony, lips as red as the rose, skin as white as
snow".
Snow White is innocent, kind, gentle, sweet-natured and cheerful. Her generous, trusting
and helpful nature can cause her trouble, as other people might take advantage of it, such
as her vain and wicked stepmother, the Queen. Although she is gentle and soft-spoken,
she can be energic and stern, such as when she told the Seven Dwarfs to wash their hands
or when she scolded the birds for "frightening the poor old lady [the Queen disguised as
an old peddler woman]". Snow White is motherly, compassionate and delights in keeping
house for the lovable Seven Dwarfs while she waits to meet her beloved prince again.
4.3.Belle
Belle is a Disney Princess, first introduced in Walt Disney Picture's 30th animated
feature film Beauty and the Beast (1991). Based on the heroine of theFrench fairy
tale by Jeanne-Marie Le Prince de Beaumont, Belle was created by screenwriter Linda
Woolverton and originally animated by James Baxter and Mark Henn. Originally voiced
by Paige O'Hara, Belle is currently voiced by Julie Nathanson.
Introduced in Beauty and the Beast as the daughter of an eccentric inventor
named Maurice, with whom she lives in a small town in France, Belle, though
unanimously hailed as the village's most beautiful resident, is simultaneously ridiculed by
its inhabitants for both her love of reading and non-conformity. Romantically pursued by
a handsome but arrogant hunter named Gaston, in whom she has no interest, Belle longs
to abandon her provincial village life in exchange for adventure. When Maurice is
imprisoned by the Beast, she bravely sacrifices her own freedom in return for his,
growing to accept, appreciate and eventually fall in love with the Beast during her
incarceration, and ultimately bringing an end to his enchantment.
11
4.4.Ariel
Ariel is a fictional character and the title character of Walt
Disney Pictures' 28th animated film The Little
Mermaid(1989). She subsequently appears in the film's prequel
television series, direct-to-video sequel The Little Mermaid II:
Return to the Sea and direct-to-video prequel The Little
Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning. Ariel is voiced by Jodi Benson in
all official animated appearances and merchandise. She is 4th
in the Disney Princess lineup, and the only princess to become
a mother to her own child.
Ariel is the youngest and seventh daughter of King Triton and Queen Athena,
rulers of Atlantica, and has six older sisters. She is often seen in the company of
Flounder, her best friend,
and Sebastian, her father's advisor
who is often assigned to watch over her.
In the television series and first film,
12
Ariel has a fascination with the human world and often goes off to find human artifacts
that she displays in a secret grotto. Ariel is often rebellious, wandering off on her own to
explore her surroundings, and frequently disobeys the orders of her father or Sebastian,
causing conflict between the characters. In The Little Mermaid she is depicted as being
willing to do anything to be with Prince Eric, even giving up her voice to become
human. Clements described her as a typical teenager, prone to errors of judgment. She
also is incredibly curious, and her curiosity often leads her into dangerous situations.
5.Movies
5.1.101 Dalmatians
The Series is an animated television series produced by the Walt Disney
Company based on the classic 1961 Disney animated feature of the same name and
its 1996 live-action remake.
The main characters in the series are Lucky, Cadpig, Rolly, and Spot. Originally
Patch and Penny were going to be the main characters alongside Lucky Rolly and
Cadpig, but Disney feared that there were would be too many characters so they removed
them and replaced them with Spot. Lucky is the most adventurous of the 99 puppies and
is unique in having his only spots in the shape of a horseshoe on his back. Cadpig is
another runt of the litter and the smallest of the 99 puppies but quite possibly the most
intelligent, if not deluded. She is unique in having long floppy ears, a big head, a kind
personality, and she's also quite strong for her size. Rolly is the very hungry one.

In a world dominated by violence and war, in which the people seem to be more
interested in having a big fortune, almost anybody has time to dream…but that’s why
Wall Disney exists: to introduce us in another world dominated this time by fun and
imagination, to teach us to dream, to remove our daily preoccupations. Because in fact
what would be our life without hope, only with certain and exact things?
