1. Metode, tehnici si module program asociate pentru identificarea si proiectarea asistata decalculator a sistemelor automate. 2. Metode, tehnici si module program asociate pentru controlul adaptiv al sistemelor (self-tuning control). 3. Dezvoltarea si implementarea de algoritmi pentru modelarea si predictia seriilor de timp cuaplicatii in analiza semnalelor biomedicale (EEG), analiza semnalelor acustice si de vibratie,inclusiv seismice, modelarea sistemelor ecologice si hidrologice. 4. Detectie si diagnoza (fault detection) in semnale si sisteme cu aplicatii in analizasemnalelor seismice, detectia schimbarilor in structuri supuse unor incarcari extreme,monitorizarea proceselor industriale si a instalatiilor industriale. 5. Analiza Componentelor Independente si Separarea “Oarba” a surselor cu aplicatii inanaliza semnalelor biomedicale (EEG, MEG), supravegherea si monitorizarea barajelor siconstructiilor hidrotehnice, monitorizarea proceselor si a instalatiilor industriale, analizavibratiilor induse de trafic, in vederea monitorizarii structurilor. 6.
